During the past 3 years the crew at Superlab<\/a> have been working on their second book – “Disruptive Future – A holistic interpretation of where we are heading<\/em>“. Together and with other experts they dive head first into the connections between the psychological, physiological and digital worlds of our time and philosophize about this hazy, fickle and fast approaching future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a decade Superlab<\/a> has continually read research reports, followed different kinds of studies, trends, analyzed data from social phenomena, visited pioneering companies and gathered information from various relevant sources. On several occasions, they even carried through their own studies, e.g. for the purpose of getting a better understanding about a specific work setting or a movement. All of this has contributed to valuable insights that supported their work with clients, partners and friends immensely. The book Disruptive Future came to be as a result of their wish to share what they learned along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crazy today, obvious tomorrow<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

“By reminiscing the past, watching the patterns evolving, we inherit an understanding of why the current state of affairs came to be. Watching connections between different subcultures, movements and societal shifts gives us a holistic outlook of what is cooking in the world. From that understanding, we are then able to distinguish indications of what direction the future will take and hopefully predict the next big paradigm shift, a disruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many things that feel obvious in our world today were not so long ago considered crazy. Lots of innovations that we used to think of as aliens are now part of most people\u2019s everyday life. Revolutionizing technical innovations along with digitalization has accelerated the development of our social evolution massively. Today, we work, socialize, meet partners and plan our lives in radically different ways than we used to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything is connected on a deeper level. Our human behavior is an effect of different types of innovations that also helps shape our societies. In this book, we try to create a overall big picture of what our world looks like and why. But above all, we try to understand and predict where we are headed into the future.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
